The report compiled by the Star-Telegram contains city data from March 16-22 and 142 inspections.

Fort Worth’s restaurant inspections function on a demerit system: Zero demerits is considered a perfect score. Restaurants with over 30 demerits are required to fix the worst issues immediately and remedy the rest within 48 hours.

Qdoba Mexican Eats, located at 4540 W Bailey Boswell Road, had a score of 17 and was closed due to issues with water pressure and temperature.

Padilla’s Restaurant, located at 2709 Lincoln Ave., had a score of 33. The restaurant was ordered to fix the worst issues immediately and remedy the rest within 48 hours.

Three restaurants received demerits for issues with roaches:

  2. Stop Food Mart, located at 6600 Meadowbrook Drive, had a score of 9
  3. Reflections 2.0, located at 604 South Jennings Ave., had a score of 8

Panther City BBQ, located at 201 E Hattie St., had a score of 19 and received demerits for repeated issues with holding food at safe temperatures, according to the report. The restaurant was one of four facing citations or legal action for repeat violations. Details were not available on the violations at the other three restaurants.
