This North Texas barbecue spot made Yelp’s Top 100 places to eat. It’s worth a visit
Texas surely has no shortage of places to eat, but which restaurants are worth going to?
Yelp just released its annual list of the 100 best places to eat in the U.S. The review site’s team of experts narrowed down the list using ratings and reviews from restaurant customers and data from community generated submissions.
Nine Texas restaurants made the list, with five local to North Texas. All of these spots range in pricing and cuisine, but what they all have in common: Good food.
The closest restaurant to Fort Worth on the list is The Original Roy Hutchins Barbeque, located about a 25-minute drive from Fort Worth in Trophy Club. The restaurant has 4.5/5 stars on Yelp and is ranked at No. 81 on the list.
Yelper Don. R left a review that said: “I grade BBQ really tough, because there are so many great BBQs in Texas, and the competition just keeps getting tougher. Well, a major contender to move into the area recently is Roy Hutchins! The Brisket is top-notch! Tender, smokey, moist, and a great bark.”
