3 fail, 8 restaurants receive low scores in Arlington health inspections. No closures.

Three restaurants failed and eight received low scores in the latest Arlington health inspections, according to city data. No restaurants were closed.

There were 88 inspections from April 9 to April 15.

Arlington inspections are based on a 100-point system. A score of 100 is perfect and a score of 70 is considered to be extremely poor. They do not list specific violations.

Three restaurants failed:

  • Burger Box at 2501 S. Cooper St., 63
  • The Crab Station at 1101 E. Pioneer Parkway, 68
  • Peter’s Chicken and Seafood at 1823 E. Abram St., 69

Eight restaurants — including the three that failed — received scores of 75 or less:

  • Gilberto’s Taco Shop at 1112 E. Abram St., 70
  • No Soup For You at 1110 S. Bowen Road Suite A, 72

  • Fuzzy’s Taco Shop at 510 E. Abram St., 72

  • Tacos Y Mas at 702 W. Interstate 20 Highway Suite 106, 73

  • Lo Banh Mi French Bakery at 6516 New York Ave. Suite 112, 75

Re-inspections are conducted for restaurants that score 75 or less.

Gilberto’s Taco Shop, No Soup For You, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Tacos Y Mas, Lo Banh Mi French Bakery and the following three restaurants had follow-up inspections:

  • El Ahorro Supermarket LLC at E. Park Row Drive, 81
  • Steak ‘n Shake at 2272 E. Lamar Blvd., 82
  • Super Mercado Monterrey at 2000 E. Pioneer Parkway, 83
