Give your valentine — or yourself — the gift of free chicken for a year this Valentine’s Day.

A new Kentucky Fried Chicken will open in White Settlement on Tuesday, and the first 50 customers will get a “Free Chicken for a Year” gift card to use throughout the year.

The KFC, located at 2011 S Las Vegas Trail, will be the 23rd location in the Fort Worth-Dallas area.

A Colonel tie ribbon-cutting ceremony will officially open the restaurant at 10:30 a.m.

The location features a dual-lane drive thru and dedicated delivery and quick pick-up parking spots out front. Inside has a kiosk for fast ordering and counter seating.

When should I get in line?

The new Tarrant County location is not the first KFC to have a “Free Chicken for a Year” promotion.

Last year a KFC opened in Buffalo, New York, with the first person in line 10 hours before the ribbon cutting, WIVB-TV reported. However, you may not have to get in line that early — the second customers got in line at 5 a.m.
