No Arlington food establishment was shut down, or scored poorly enough to require a followup, during recent health inspections.

From June 5-11, 84 restaurants underwent inspections. With 100 being a perfect score, and 70 considered extremely poor, no food establishment failed or required a followup.

The lowest-scored restaurants included Omi Korean Grill and Bar, at 226 Lincoln Square; Steak N Shake, at 951 W. Arbrook Blvd.; and Umi Sushi & Grill, at 915 E. Road to Six Flags, which all scored a 78.

Mariscos Rio Bravo Mexican Restaurant and Bar underwent its followup inspection from previous violations. During its prior inspection, the Mexican food spot was cited for improper cooling, unsafe food temperatures, missing a food thermometer and wiping clothes stored in an unsanitary manner, city officials said.

Upon its followup inspection, Mariscos Rio Bravo scored an 88.

Here are the inspection scores and violations for restaurants within the city limits of Arlington for June 5th - June 11th, 2022. A score of 100 is a perfect score and 70 is considered to be extremely poor. Reinspections will be conducted for restaurants that score 75 or less. If serious health and sanitation violations are considered an imminent health hazard, the restaurant will be closed until the identified health hazard has been mitigated.
