No restaurants were closed or failed during health inspections in Arlington conducted from May 15 to May 21, but three will have to undergo reinspections, according to data from the city compiled by the Star-Telegram.

In Arlington, restaurants are scored on a scale of zero to 100, with 100 being a perfect score and 70 and under considered extremely poor. Any restaurant that scores lower than a 75 automatically has to undergo a followup inspection.

The three restaurants that will undergo followup inspections are:

  • Burger Street at 5809 Office Park Drive, which scored a 71 on May 17;
  • BFF Asian Grill and Sports Bar at 2150 E. Lamar Blvd., which scored a 71;
  • and Hong Kong Cafe at 4126 S. Cooper St., which scored a 74.

Two restaurants received perfect scores. Pizza Patron at 4306 Matlock Road scored a 100 on May 18, and QuikTrip’s food service counter at 4201 S. Collins St. scored the same on May 19.

The grocery section of World Market at 239 Curtis Mathes Way and the seafood market at Kwang Investment at 1300 E. Pioneer Parkway also scored perfectly in their health inspections.

Here are the inspection scores and violations for restaurants within the city limits of Arlington for May 15th - May 21st, 2022. A score of 100 is a perfect score and 70 is considered to be extremely poor. Reinspections will be conducted for restaurants that score 75 or less. If serious health and sanitation violations are considered an imminent health hazard, the restaurant will be closed until the identified health hazard has been mitigated.
