No Fort Worth restaurants closed in recent health inspections; five get perfect scores

After two Fort Worth restaurants were required to shut down to correct health violations from mid November into early December, in recent inspections no food establishment required followups or closures.

Between Dec. 5 and Dec. 11, over 100 restaurants underwent inspections. Establishment receiving 30 or more violations are required to fix the worst problems immediately and clean up the rest within 48 hours. No restaurant was cited for over 30 violations in this time period.

Tres Beto’s Taqueria, located at 2408 NE 28th St., scored the worst in the evaluation period, with a 27. Some of the violations recorded included improper temperatures for storing food, cross-contamination, residue inside the ice machine and improper storage of cleaning supplies and sanitizer buckets.



Following behind the taqueria, La Michoacana, Pho Kobee Vietnamese Cuisine and Spice By Thai Select each scored a 26.

Mariscos Elwero Grill and Panaderia La Fe Bakery scored a 25.

Esl Sushi at 8968 Tehama Ridge Parkway, In N Out Burger #301 at 2501 N. Tarrant Parkway, Panda Express #2772 at 9013 North Freeway, Pate Rehabilitation Center at 232 Bens Trail and Taco Bell #18558, located at 1701 California Parkway S., were the only five restaurants to receive perfect scores.

When the total exceeds 30, the restaurant must take immediate corrective action on all identified critical violations, then has 48 hours to initiate corrective action on all other violations.
