Kacey Musgraves films her new album’s music video at a Fort Worth landmark
Kacey Musgraves spent some time in Fort Worth for her forthcoming album “Middle of Nowhere.”
The East Texas native will release the 13-track record, her seventh, on Friday, May 1. Musgraves will then embark on a multi-city tour later this year, with a planned stop in Dallas on Oct. 10.
Last week, the country music star released a snippet of footage from the music video for “Rhinestoned,” the 11th track on “Middle of Nowhere.”
The video was filmed at Fort Worth Stockyards staple Billy Bob’s Texas last fall, according to a spokesperson for the world’s largest honky-tonk. Musgraves also did a photoshoot at the club during the same time.

Musgraves was also back at Billy Bob’s more recently.
On April 8, the singer conducted an interview with “CBS News Sunday Morning” in the middle of the bull-riding arena at the club. Musgraves spoke about making the album in the interview, which released on April 26.

Musgraves’ interview was filmed one day before she joined Leon Bridges at the Fort Worth singer’s charity event — The Big Night.
The event is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Bridges’ The Big Good, which he founded in 2020 alongside former TCU football coach Gary Patterson. The Fort Worth nonprofit supports local organizations that meet critical needs.
Musrgaves and Bridges performed in front of hundreds at the River Ranch Stockyards-held event.
