Taylor Sheridan’s ‘Lioness,’ ‘Dutton Ranch’ casting extras for North Texas filming
As February comes to a close, two of Taylor Sheridan’s shows continue filming in North Texas.
“Yellowstone” spinoff “Dutton Ranch” has been filming in and around the area since August 2025. Production on “Lioness” season 3 began in Fort Worth in October 2025.
Texas-based Legacy Casting recently posted several notices for filming in the region over February and March.
Here’s what roles are open and how to apply.
‘Dutton Ranch’
“Dutton Ranch” is set after “Yellowstone” season 5 and follows the continuing adventures of Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser).
- Feb. 26- Adult patrons at a restaurant. $110 for 10 hours of work in Fort Worth.
- Feb. 26- Teen patrons (ages 18 and up) at a restaurant. $110 for 10 hours of work in Fort Worth.
- March 11- Bar patrons. $110 for 10 hours of work in Fort Worth.
‘Lioness’
“Lioness” follows CIA operative Joe (Zoe Saldaña) as she balances her “personal and professional lives as the tip of the spear in the agency’s war on terror.”
- March 3- Diplomatic security detail. Pay rate is $200 for 12 hours of work in Fort Worth.
- March 3- Restaurant waitstaff, hostesses and bartenders. $200 for 12 hours of work in Fort Worth.
- March 3- Foreign diplomats. $200 for 12 hours of work in Fort Worth.
- March 3- Luxury hotel restaurant patrons. $110 for 10 hours of work in Fort Worth.
- March 4- Malnourished men in cages. $300 for filming in Weatherford.
- March 4- Marines on guard. $200 for 12 hours of work in Fort Worth.
- March 11- Marine cadet plane handlers. $200 for 12 hours of work in Fort Worth.
