Taylor Sheridan’s North Texas music festival is back. Here’s who is performing

Taylor Sheridan is bringing back his North Texas music festival later this year.

Bosque Ranch Live launched last fall at Sheridan’s Bosque Ranch in nearby Weatherford. The sold-out inaugural event’s lineup included Drayton Farley, Kaitlin Butts and Jackson Dean.

The event returns on Sept. 12 and will see Tanner Usrey and Shane Smith & The Saints perform.

Here’s what to know.

Bosque Ranch Live lineup

Both artists headlining this year’s event have been featured in Sheridan’s shows before.

The “Yellowstone” season 4 finale featured Usrey’s “The Light” and “Take Me Home” was heard in the “Landman” season 1 premiere. Usrey, who is from Prosper, is a rising star in the country music scene and released his latest album “These Days” in 2025.

Shane Smith & The Saints are featured in three episodes of “Yellowstone” and even appeared as themselves in the season 5 premiere.

The band is seen playing a couple of songs at Dutton Ranch for Gov. John Dutton’s post-inauguration bonanza. Another of the band’s tunes played in “Landman” season 1, episode 3.

Shane Smith & The Saints formed in Austin in 2011. The band’s latest album “Norther” released in 2024.

More at Bosque Ranch Live

In addition to the music, there’s plenty more to see at the festival.

There will be a speaker series with several of Sheridan’s collaborators, including prop master Ian Roylance, set decorator Carla Curry, music supervisor Andrea von Foerster, composer Andrew Lockington and costume designer Janie Bryant.

Attendees can also see demonstrations from the National Cutting Horse Association and National Reined Cow Horse Association. There will also be several vendors around the event.

Tickets for Bosque Ranch Live begin at $500, which covers general admission. For $800, lunch and dinner from Chef Gabriel “Gator” Guilbeau is included, along with four complimentary drinks.

A $1,200 tickets includes a tent spot, a performance from country artist Dani Rose, access to a cowboy breakfast the following morning and more. For $1,350, a pop-up gazebo is available along with everything else below this level.

Finally, a $1,500 ticket allows a guest to bring their RV to stay overnight. A maximum of four people are allowed to stay in the RV, however, all additional occupants are required to purchase general admission tickets or higher.
