Two Fort Worth landmarks appear in Parker McCollum’s new music video
A couple of familiar Fort Worth landmarks appear in country singer Parker McCollum’s new music video.
The Conroe native recently released the video for “Killin’ Me,” a tune from his self-titled fifth album that dropped last summer. A deluxe edition of the album will release on March 20.
The Fort Worth Stockyards’ Hotel Drover is seen front and center in the opening seconds of the video, as McCollum pulls up in a truck and heads inside.
He walks through the hotel’s lobby to an elevator, which opens to one of the bar areas at Billy Bob’s Texas. From there, McCollum sings to a room full of folks, including his real-life wife Hallie Ray Light McCollum.
Texas Rangers third baseman Josh Jung also appears at the 2:22 mark. Watch the nearly four-minute long music video below.
Parker McCollum at Billy Bob’s Texas
McCollum made his Billy Bob’s debut on Oct. 8, 2015.
He returned a couple of times in May and December 2019, followed by three consecutive shows in December 2020. In March 2022, McCollum appeared at the venue for the first-ever Texas Independence Jam.
After a few years away, McCollum will return to Billy Bob’s on March 8 for the fifth annual Texas Independence Jam. He also recently played a New Year’s Eve show at Dickies Arena last year.
McCollum has been on the road since late January in support of his self-titled album. The first leg of the tour will run through March and pick back up in June and run through September.
