Friday, Sept. 5
First Friday Concert at the Modern
Kick off the month with art, music and light bites inside the Modern’s Grand Lobby. The First Friday House Band sets the tone while Café Modern serves cocktails, wine, and a special dining menu. You can even join a free docent-led tour at 6:30 p.m. for a closer look at the galleries.

Fort Worth Princess Day
Little ones get the royal treatment at Princess Day, where storybook magic comes alive inside the Fort Worth Convention Center. Expect sing-alongs, dances, interactive crafts and 10 enchanting performances designed to captivate kids and parents alike. Each child will have the chance to meet and take photos with their favorite princesses during a special meet-and-greet. Costumes are encouraged.

Cowtown Brewing Oktoberfest
Break out the lederhosen and get ready to toast: Cowtown Brewing is going full Bavarian. The day kicks off with live German music from Alpen Musikanten and a menu stacked with bratwursts, smoked meats and pretzels courtesy of Outpost 36 BBQ. Guests can also test their strength in the Stein Holding Contest or show off their best Oktoberfest outfit for a shot at prizes.

Fall Block Party at Hotel Dryce
Enjoy a night filled with cocktails, food pop-ups from GUSTOS and La Pasadita, and an art vendor market that spills into the street. As the evening goes on, DJs take over the rooftop, giving the night a festival-like energy against the Fort Worth skyline.

Lotería Pan y Cafecito
Spend your Sunday morning enjoying a classic game of Lotería with a side of pan dulce and coffee. This family-friendly fundraiser includes two cards with admission, and extra cards are available if you want to boost your chances of winning prizes. In between rounds, guests can snack, sip cafecito, and mingle with others in support of the Jr. Company and Company dancers.
