In announcing the final tour, Jackson said he’s hoping to give fans one final great show.

“I’ve been touring for over 30 years — my daughters are all grown, we have one grandchild and one on the way…and I’m enjoying spending more time at home,” Jackson said in a press release. “But my fans always show up to have a good time, and I’m going to give them the best show I can for this last call.”

Jackson’s Fort Worth show is the only Texas date on the 10-city tour.

The “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere” singer is taking his time on the final tour, only playing around one show a month. The tour kicks off this fall in Boston in August and wraps up in Milwaukee in May 2025.

A dollar from every ticket sold on Jackson’s final tour will be donated to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Research Foundation. Jackson revealed in 2021 that he has the chronic neuropathy condition, which affects both sensory and motor nerves.

Jackson began his country music career in the late ‘80s and found huge acclaim in the early ‘90s.

In total, Jackson has released over 20 albums with his latest coming in 2021 titled, “Where Have You Gone.” With hits such as “Chattahoochee”, “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere”, “Remember When” and “Gone Country”, Jackson is one of the biggest country stars of his generation.

It was in February 1990 that Jackson made his first of three appearances at Fort Worth’s Billy Bob’s Texas. In February 2020, Jackson made his Dickies Arena debut.

Fans can catch Jackson one final time in Fort Worth at Dickies Arena on Feb. 15, 2025.
