Arlington’s Six Flags Over Texas wants to hire 500 people this spring. Here’s how to apply

Six Flags Over Texas plans to hire over 500 employees for its spring season.

The Arlington-based amusement park is hosting a week-long hiring flurry from Feb. 15 to 22. If you’re interested, you can apply online now or visit in-person this weekend and next week.

Six Flags is hiring for a variety of roles, including food and beverage servers, ride operators, security workers, games and merchandise sales staffers, park services attendants and more.

Hourly pay starts between $9.50 to $16 for those aged 16 or older and is also based on prior experience, according to Six Flags.

For those looking for more details on jobs, Six Flags is hosting an information session at its human resources building from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 15 and 16. The company said this is for applicants, and interested parents, to learn more about the park and its different positions.

The park released the following itinerary for hiring week:

  • Feb. 15- Job fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Feb. 16- Job fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Feb. 17- Food and beverage applicants stop by from 1-4 p.m.
  • Feb. 18- Ride attendant applicants stop by from 1-4 p.m.
  • Feb. 19- Anyone can stop by from 1-4 p.m.
  • Feb. 20- Applicants seeking rehire from 2023 or 2024 can stop by from 6-8 p.m.
  • Feb. 21- Final day to apply for spring break
  • Feb. 22- Last call for spring break applicants
