What songs will Leon Bridges play in Fort Worth? Previous concerts provide a clue

Fort Worth native Leon Bridges is coming back to his roots to play at Dickies Arena on Friday.

The Grammy-winning artist will be on stage for an estimated three hours, singing his Texas-influenced R&B and soul-inspired tunes.

You may recognize him from his hit song “River,” featured on the hit Max show, “Big Little Lies.” Or maybe his collaboration on the song “Texas Sun,” which mentions his Cowtown roots in the lyrics, “Caressing you from Fort Worth to Amarillo/Come on, roll with me ‘til the sun dips low.”

Bridges is currently coming to town for a tour of his fourth album, “Leon,” an anthology he says is an ode to his home of Fort Worth. However, the predicted set list also includes past songs from his debut album, “Coming Home,” his second album, “Good Thing,” and his third album, “Gold Diggers Sound. “

The concert begins at 7 p.m. at Dickies with special guests, Charley Crockett and Hermanos Gutiérrez. Tickets are still available, beginning at $57. Here’s what songs you can expect if you attend.
