Post Malone, Jelly Roll spotted at Fort Worth’s Koe Wetzel’s Riot Room this week
Jelly Roll and Post Malone were recently spotted at Koe Wetzel’s Riot Room in the West 7th entertainment district in Fort Worth. Both stars were in town for the American Country Music Awards which will be held at the Ford Center in Frisco tonight.
Post Malone is primarily a rapper, who recently made his country music debut. Born in Syracuse, New York, Malone moved to Grapevine when he was 10.
Jelly Roll has had several country hits since breaking into the music scene in 2003. Having spent time in jail for armed robbery, the musician has created a career for himself writing music that talks about his life. Just a few days ago, he preformed at Billy Bob’s Texas for a charity event.
Fans of the musicians began posting on social media after seeing the music stars in the Riot Room. The bar shared their selfie snapshots and soon word had spread.
The Riot Room was opened a year ago by country star, Koe Wetzel. Known for his mix of country and Rock-grunge, Wetzel has another bar in Houston.
All three stars will perform in Dallas-Fort Worth this coming year. Post Malone is performing tonight at the ACM awards. Jelly Roll comes to At&T Stadium on July 25. And finally, the day after, Koe Wetzle will open for Morgan Wallen on July 26, also at the home of the NFL Dallas Cowboys.
Both Jelly Roll and Post Malone have ties to Fort Worth making another appearance promising.
