Nick Jonas wasn’t sour on one of Fort Worth’s most interesting craft beer offerings.

The Jonas Brothers member recently shared his thoughts on Martin House Brewing Company’s Best Maid Sour Pickle beer. The brothers were in Fort Worth this week for a “secret” concert at Tannahill’s Tavern and Music Hall, returning to North Texas after playing the halftime show of the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving game in 2022.

In a TikTok post, not only does Jonas review the pickle beer, but does so in a quirky social media influencer type of way.

“Okay, I’m getting pickle and I’m getting beer,” Jonas exaggeratedly says.

After a few sips and quips, Jonas gives his honest opinion on the beer and rates it a seven out of 10. Jonas then shows off the Martin House can and tells his 5.5 million TikTok followers to like and subscribe.

The beer review came as a shock to the Fort Worth brewery.

“Is this reel lyfe?!,” Martin House’s account commented under Jonas’ video.

Jonas and his fellow band mates and brothers, Joe and Kevin, were in Fort Worth this week to perform one of three “secret” shows that were announced last week. When the concerts were announced, no venues were attached, leading many fans speculating where in North Texas the band would perform.

The brother trio ended up at Tannahill’s Tavern and Music Hall on Wednesday for an intimate show with fans. The final “secret” concert is Friday night in Baltimore.

Jonas’ ringing endorsement for the pickle beer couldn’t come at a better time for Martin House. The brewery is gearing up to host Pickle Fest 2023 from noon to 5 p.m. this Saturday at 220 S. Sylvania Ave. suite 209.

Patrons can try the brewery’s new watermelon pickle beer and pickle pie sour, made with graham crackers, lactose and vanilla. Along with the brews, Martin House will have pickle themed vendors, food and music on hand.

Pickle Fest tickets are $15 at the door and comes with a souvenir glass, plus four pours of any of the beer and seltzers on tap.
