Looking for a weekend trip? Granbury Wine Walk, plant sale is this Saturday, Sunday

The Granbury Wine Walk takes place in the Historic Granbury Square, about an hour from Fort Worth, and runs Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Granbury Wine Walk features wine from dozens of wineries for visitors to sip while strolling the square, enjoying live music from local talents along with food and art.

Limited tickets are available for $45 and can be purchased online.

For weekend guests looking to take a break from the walking, the Granbury Trolley offers free rides on an hour-long route that starts at the Visitors Center. The trolley runs Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

If you’re not able to secure tickets for the Wine Walk, Granbury has other events happening this weekend as well.

The Lake Granbury Master Gardeners are also hosting their annual plant sale on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., or until they sell out. The plant sale , located at 1410 W Pearl St., is free to attend and will have perennials and other plants that thrive in North Texas.

Revolver Brewery hosts brewery tours at its Granbury location, 5650 Matlock Road, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays. Visitors 21 years and older who are interested in having a drink during the tour must purchase a wristband for $15. Wristbands are not required for those not interested in having a drink or those under 21 years of age, according to Revolver Brewery’s website.
