DETOUR Sports: Ginger Howard offers tips for beginner golfers
For Ginger Howard, golf is not just a profession/ it is a lifestyle.
“It’s a relationship between you and the sport,” said Howard, who earned conditional status on LPGA in 2016. “It takes a lot of passion and motivation.”
DETOUR asked Howard to give some advice to people looking to give the sport a try.
“[Being] an African-American female golfer has had its ups and downs,” she said honestly. “But in the end it’s always worth it.”
