Cowboys-Buccaneers highlights: Rookies Elliott, Prescott again star
Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott: The NFL’s leading rusher added 159 yards on 23 carries and one touchdown. He had a 42-yard run and a 10-yard run on the Cowboys’ final scoring drive in the fourth quarter. His 2-yard touchdown run in the second quarter ended with him jumping in the Salvation Army red Kettle in the back of the end zone.
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott: The rookie completed 32 of 36 passes for 279 yards for a passer rating of 99. He scored on a 2-yard run.
Cowboys secondary: The unit came up with three interceptions. Orlando Scandrick’s interception with 24 seconds sealed the win. Byron Jones and Jeff Heath also had interceptions. Heath’s interception set up a fourth-quarter field goal.
Cowboys defensive line: David Irving had two sacks, two tackles for loss and two tackles. Terrell McClain had a sack and two tackles. Maliek Collins had a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
