TCU adds fourth football commit from 2019 class
Gary Patterson and TCU is off to a good start for the Horned Frogs recruiting class of 2019.
Burton wide receiver Dee Winters is the latest to commit, announcing on Sunday via Twitter.
According to the Texas Sportwriters Association, in 2017, De’Monderick Winters, a junior from Burton, recorded 47 tackles and 11 for losses. On offense he caught 64 passes for 1,171 yards and 19 touchdowns, and rushed 650 yards and 14 TDs.

Winters joins Mansfield Summit’s William Jones, Aledo’s Wyatt Harris and Cedar Hill’s Donavann Collins, all defensive backs.

The Panthers have gone 13-2 each of the past two seasons with appearances in the Class 2A Division II state semifinals.
Winters, who also considered Houston, Northwestern, SMU and UT-San Antonio, recorded 52 catches, 1,118 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2016.
He’s been voted all-state honorable mention both years, along with district MVP in 2017 and district offensive MVP in 2016.
