Fallen Mansfield football star says he will be OK

Mansfield bested state No. 10 Cedar Hill 38-21 on Friday night but it may have cost the Tigers.

Four-star prospect Cam’ron Jones, committed to UCLA, appeared to have sustained a neck injury in the second half after landing on it following a tackle.

The game was delayed for a few minutes while both teams united as one for thoughts and prayers.

Mansfield improved to 2-0 while Cedar Hill dropped to 0-2 for the first time since 2004.

Jones took to Twitter and thanked everyone for all the support and said he'd be OK.
