TCU has added a Dec. 8 game against Nevada, to be played in Los Angeles as part of the Basketball Hall of Fame Classic, to its upcoming men’s basketball schedule.

The Horned Frogs will face Nevada during a Friday triple-header of college basketball games in the Staples Center. Other matchups include Oklahoma-Southern California and Arizona State-St. John’s. Game times and television information will be released at a later date.

TCU returns its top six scorers and all five starters from last year’s 24-15 team that won the NIT championship. Nevada finished 28-7 last season, losing to Iowa State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Horned Frogs’ complete schedule for the 2017-18 season will be released later. At this point, the other confirmed nonconference contest is a Jan. 27 meeting against Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tenn. as part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge.

Tickets for the Basketball Hall of Fame Classic are available online at AXS.com or by phone at 888-929-7849. Tickets are valid for all three games.
