TCU backup cornerback DeShawn Raymond announces plan to transfer
TCU cornerback DeShawn Raymond announced Tuesday on Twitter that he is transferring.
“I want to thank Coach P for giving me this golden opportunity and allowing me to be a part of something special,” he posted in a note.

Raymond did not play in 2016 after playing in 11 games as a freshman. He had five tackles, all on special teams.
He enrolled early in January 2015 out of Metairie, La., as a four-star recruit by Rivals and Scout.
