Merritt, Wariner in separate events at USA Championships
EUGENE, Ore. — Over an activity-filled off-season, sprinter LaShawn Merritt dabbled in runway modeling, met rap mogul Jay-Z at a Barack Obama rally, hosted a track meet for kids and had a parade thrown in his honor.
