Burleson teen killed in head-on Johnson County crash identified

A 17-year-old from Burleson who died Sunday afternoon when her SUV veered into oncoming traffic on U.S. 67 just south of Cleburne has been identified, according to senior trooper Dub Gillum of the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Jean Marie Kramer was eastbound near County Road 1120 when she crossed into the westbound lane and hit a tanker truck head-on, Gillum said.

Kramer died at the scene at 12:53 p.m., he said

The impact pushed the tanker truck into the eastbound lane, where it struck a Ford F-150 before crashing and catching fire, he said.

The truck driver and the Ford driver are OK, Gillum said.

Texas DPS is investigating.

Troopers were still on the scene at 5 p.m. Sunday. The westbound lane of U.S. 67 at County Road 1120 remained closed. Monica S. Nagy
