Body of drowned teen found at Lake Ray Hubbard Sunday, according to Dallas police

The body of a 15-year-old boy who drowned at Lake Ray Hubbard on Friday in Dallas was found around noon Sunday, according to police.

Police said the boy’s body was found near the south end of the lake. His age has been confirmed by police but, because of his age, his name will not be released.

Authorities received a call about the drowning around 10:40 p.m. Friday, according to police. They’d been searching for the body the entire weekend.

Police said the teen’s death is still under investigation.
