Fort Worth woman slain on Christmas morning

A woman was fatally shot in the chest early Christmas morning in her south Fort Worth home.

Police responded to a reported shooting just before 4 a.m. in the 800 block of Donna Street, near Echo Lake Park. Minerva Cisneros, 30, was found dead in a bedroom, said Sgt. Steven Enright, a police spokesman.

The Tarrant County medical examiner’s website lists the manner of death as homicide, caused by a gunshot to the chest.

Homicide detectives were investigating.
