Fort Worth woman, 21, is shot to death
A woman died after a man shot her in the head in a Fort Worth home in what police are calling a domestic dispute that escalated.
The woman, identified by the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office as Tori Brown, 21, was shot at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday outside an apartment at 3615 Oak Tree Circle in southwest Fort Worth, near Edgecliff Village.
Police say they believe that the shooting was the result of a domestic dispute between Brown and Frederick Jones, 44, who was arrested and faces a murder charge.
The nature of the suspect and victim’s relationship hasn’t been determined, said Sgt. Steve Enright, a police spokesman.
