Man, 24, killed in south Fort Worth shooting
A man is dead, and police were searching Saturday for the suspect who they believe shot him Friday afternoon.
Cpl. Tracey Knight, a police spokeswoman, said officers responded to a shooting report in the 1700 block of San Rafael Street just after 4:30 p.m. Friday. They found a man with gunshot wounds in his chest, she said.
He was taken to a hospital and died less than an hour later. The Tarrant County medical examiner’s website identified him as Andre Fobbs, 24, a resident of the address where the shooting occurred. He died of gunshot wounds to the chest and neck, and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the website.
Homicide detectives believe the two men got into an argument and the suspect got upset, pulled out a handgun and shot the victim multiple times, Knight said. The suspect then fled in a vehicle.
