Man, 21, killed after crashing in Parker County
A 21-year-old man is dead after he apparently fell asleep at the wheel in Parker County, said Department of Public Safety spokesman Ricky Hunter.
Hunter said Timothy Berend, 21, of Archer City, was driving a truck -- which was not towing a trailer -- southbound on Farm Road 920 near Peaster about 5 a.m. when he apparently fell asleep and drifted off the road. Berend over-corrected, Hunter said, causing the vehicle to overturn multiple times.
Berend was flown to a Fort Worth hospital, but died on the way.
No other vehicles or people were involved in the wreck.
