A large fire at a scrapyard in Azle caused giant plumes of black smoke to rise into the air on Sunday afternoon and burned well through Monday afternoon.

Several fire departments, led by the Azle Fire Department, were sent to 10501 Jacksboro Highway regarding the fire.

A second alarm was called at around 3 p.m. Sunday.

There have been no reports of injuries.
