As post-Grammy gigs go, it’s a very good one.

Fresh from walking the red carpet at the 58th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, and competing in the best R&B album category, Fort Worth-based singer-songwriter Leon Bridges will perform as part of “Smithsonian Salutes Ray Charles: In Performance at the White House,” a tribute to the late musical icon, on Feb. 24.

The performance for the President and Mrs. Obama will, in addition to Bridges, feature Usher, Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard, Andra Day, Yolanda Adams, the Band Perry, Demi Lovato, Anthony Hamilton and Jussie Smollett.

Although you can livestream the performance on Feb. 24 as pbs.org/whitehouse, it will be broadcast nationwide on PBS stations two days later at 8 p.m. Central.
