Dallas police say a robbery suspect has died after several officers fired on him when he confronted them with a handgun.
Police say a 59-year-old Corsicana man strung up a 62-year-old Parker County woman on a deer rack and beat, whipped and tortured her over 12 days.
No one was injured in the fire Tuesday morning on Travis Avenue in south Fort Worth.
A fire marshal said the woman escaped and called 911 herself. He said she should be released from the hospital in a couple of days.
