Here’s the traffic Fort Worth fans face when Mavericks and Stars move — WATCH
The Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars announced separate plans for new arenas this week, each proclamation generating excitement, disappointment and anger.
The loser here is downtown Dallas.
The other “loser” in this future arrangement will be the residents of Fort Worth and those in Tarrant County. There is zero public transportation to these new respective sites.
The drive from Fort Worth to the site of Valley View Mall, where the Mavs will play, is not exactly “easy.” It’s a tad longer to trek to the site of the Shops at Wllow Bend, where the Stars will play in Plano.
I gassed up my car, grabbed my water bottle and (somewhat) patiently made my way to the future arena sites to see what Fort Worth fans are in for.
