About the Bruins: This is the final stop on Boston’s season-long, six-game road trip. They’ve gone 3-2 on the trip but lost 2-0 at Nashville on Thursday and sit five points behind Atlantic leader Florida. Forward Loui Eriksson, acquired from Dallas for Tyler Seguin three seasons ago, has scored a goal in every game on the road trip except Thursday’s shutout. Eriksson has 45 points, tied with David Krejci and three points behind team leader Patrice Bergeron. Six-foot-nine defenseman Zdeno Chara has been on the ice for the last nine goals scored against Boston.
About the Stars: Thursday’s 6-3 loss at Arizona was the second in a row for the Stars. Center Jason Spezza contributed two assists against the Coyotes in his first action since missing six games with an upper-body injury. Ales Hemsky practiced Friday on the top line with Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin. Hemsky has nine points in his past 14 games, including two goals in the past three games. The Stars won 5-3 in Boston on Nov. 3 in the first meeting with the Bruins.
