Going into Monday’s game, Patrick Eaves had eight points in his past five games after scoring just four in his first 31 games.
About the Blues: St. Louis is coming off its third road win in a row, 2-1 at Tampa Bay on Sunday. The third-place Blues trail the first-place Stars by six points in the Central Division. Goalie Brian Elliott had 37 saves against the Lightning and is 9-3-3 with a 1.78 goals-against average since taking over for the injured Jake Allen on Jan. 8.
