About the Sabres: Buffalo lost to the Stars 3-1 on Tuesday and has lost three straight after Thurday’s 3-2 shootout loss to the St. Louis Blues. … The Sabres averaged 2.67 goals a game in winning five of six (5-1-0) from Oct. 30 to Nov. 12, but they are 0-1-2 with four goals during the three-game skid. … Buffalo is 4-3-1 on the road this season. … Goaltender Linus Ullmark, who has started the past two games, has given up two goals or fewer in six of his eight NHL starts, with a save percentage of at least .929 in each of those games.
