Dallas Stars fans react to the firing of head coach Pete DeBoer
Dallas Stars fans and pundits are reacting after learning the team fired head coach Pete DeBoer after three seasons with the team, despite leading them to the Western Conference Finals each year.
This is nothing new for DeBoer, who has been fired from his last two jobs despite also leading those teams to conference finals.
How is the reaction on social media?

Any team with a franchise goalie who hires Pete DeBoer is an idiot. He has completely fudged goalie situations with each of his last two teams. pic.twitter.com/Caq4r1NWQU

Why do teams keep firing Pete DeBoer?

Good luck finding a coach who's better than him.
Pete DeBoer has been to the Western Conference final six of the last eight seasons with three different teams. But he sure seems to wear out his welcome in a hurry.

He's had a head-coaching job every year since 2008-09 but has been fired five times. It's pretty wild.
So yea that just happened. I don't mind the Pete DeBoer firing. Doesn't change much of what I wrote earlier either. But this is a hire they can't miss on. There are a lot of much worse coaches available. Hopefully Dallas doesn't have to find out the hard way who they are.

You don’t pull your starting goalie, rip into him in the media, not talk to the guy and expect to have a job.#TexasHockey

The Dallas Stars had to win when Peter DeBoer pulled Jake Ottinger in the first period.

If they won, sure he keeps his job, but they lost and it ultimately got him fired, even with what he said at the post game presser.
He was getting fired the moment they lost https://t.co/y9M4AJzmYG
