How to watch the Dallas Stars play the Vegas Golden Knights in the first round of the NHL playoffs

The Dallas Stars (52-21-9) finished the NHL regular season as the No. 1 team in the Western Conference and are now preparing for a first-round tilt with the Vegas Golden Knights.

This matchup will be a repeat of last year’s Western Conference Finals where the Golden Knights beat the Stars in six games to advance to the Stanley Cup Final where they beat the Florida Panthers in five games. The Stars are hoping for revenge and to win their first Stanley Cup win since 1999

Here’s everything fans need to know before the series starts.

When does the series begin?

The NHL has announced all the dates for the games, but has only given the start time for the first three games of the series.

The Stars will play the Golden Knights at 8:30 p.m. on Monday at American Airlines Center.

The second game of the series will be played at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday at American Airlines Center.

The series will then travel to Las Vegas when the Golden Knights will host the Stars at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, at the T-Mobile Arena.

What channel is the series on?

The first two games of the first-round Western Conference playoff series will air on ESPN and can also be watched on the ESPN app or website.

The third game will air on TBS and can be watched on their website or app as well as the MAX app or website.

How much are tickets?

Tickets are on sale now for the series, tickets for the first game start at $70 on the team website. Prices for the second game are slightly lower at $59.

The first game hosted by the Golden Knights will start ticket prices at $104.

Who are the players to watch?

The Golden Knights are led by Jonathan Marchessault who had 69 points, scored 42 goals and earned 27 assists. Marchessault will be looking to repeat his performance from last postseason when he earned the Con Smythe Trophy, given annually to the MVP of the playoffs, after scoring 13 goals and dishing 12 assists.

Stars forward Jason Robertson played every game this season leading the team with 80 points, scoring 29 goals, and notching 51 assists. Robertson also led the Stars in points during last year’s Western Conference Finals and will look to lead the team to a different result against the Golden Knights.
