How to watch the statue reveal of Dallas Stars legend Mike Modano

Mike Modano, one of the greatest players in Dallas Stars history, will have his statue unveiled at the American Airlines Center at 4 p.m. on Saturday before the Stars’ game at 7 p.m. against the Los Angeles Kings.

Mike Modano, who was drafted No. 1 overall by the Minnesota North Stars in 1988, joined the Stars prior to the 1993-94 season. He became the franchise’s all-time leader in in goals scored (557), games played (1,459), assists (802) and points (1359)

Modano was inducted into the International Hockey Hall of Fame in 2019.

Fans looking to attend can head to the PNC Plaza at the AAC and the event is free to the public. For those who can’t attend but wish to watch, the event will be broadcast on Bally Sports Southwest and the Bally Sports app

The statue will reside on PNC Plaza near the stature of Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki.

Modano has already had his jersey retired by the Stars and is acknowledged as one of the greatest American-born hockey players in NHL history.
