About the Wild: Minneosta is 5-5 in its last 10 and comes off a 3-2 loss Saturday to the Colorado Avalanche. The Wild allowed three goals in the third period to Colorado. Veteran Wild forward Zach Parise missed the Avalanche game because of strep throat, he told NHL.com, but was at practice Sunday. Coach Bruce Boudreau’s Wild team beat Central Division rival Dallas 4-0 on Oct. 29 in the teams’ first meeting this season.
About the Stars: Dallas general manager Jim Nill announced Sunday that young defensemen Esa Lindell, 22, and Julius Honka, 20, had been recalled from the AHL Texas Stars and that defenseman Johnny Oduya was placed on injured reserve. Honka was the Stars’ first-round pick in the 2014 NHL draft. Oduya, 35, suffered a lower body injury Saturday in a 5-2 loss to Edmonton. After the blowout loss, Dallas has a minus-14 (50-64) goal differential this season.
