Dallas Cowboys backup quarterback Kellen Moore fractured his right fibula during training camp practice Tuesday.

Moore had been taking the majority of the snaps as part of the Cowboys plans to bring Tony Romo back slowly from collarbone surgery.

"It’s regrettable. We’ll just basically take a look at it and address it from here,” owner Jerry Jones said.

Moore's lower right leg has been placed in a soft cast.

There are two other quarterbacks on the roster, rookie Dak Prescott of Mississippi State and second-year man Jameill Showers.

The Cowboys are off Wednesday.
