If you’ve ever dreamed of having dinner and talking football with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and tight end Jason Witten, well, here’s your chance: That prize will headline a fund-raising auction Thursday night in Dallas called “Dine for Dallas Blue.”

Best of all, 100 percent of the proceeds from the event will go to help the families of the fallen officers from last week’s Dallas shootings.

The DFW sports family has stepped up in a big way to donate items for the event, 5 p.m.-2 a.m. at Dos Jefes restaurant in Uptown Dallas.

Some of the other auction items include a round of golf with Dallas Mavericks point Deron Williams; the chance to sit courtside with Mavs owner Mark Cuban (and pitch your business ideas to the Shark Tank star during timeouts); Rangers manager Jeff Bannister will guest coach your child’s youth baseball team; there’s even a 15-minute call with fantasy football expert Matthew Berry before your fantasy draft.

All of the proceeds will go to the Guns and Hoses Foundation of North Texas for the families of the fallen and injured officers from last Thursday’s tragedy in Dallas.

Dos Jefes ownership (which includes retired NYPD officer Joe Palladino) partnered with Dallas entrepreneur Andy Alberth to put together the event.

“You really don’t understand how stuff like this affects a city until you actually live in the city where it happens,” Alberth said. “[This fundraiser] is the least we can do for the people who lay their life on the line every day for us.”

In addition to the dinner with them at Nick & Sam’s Steakhouse, Romo is donating signed footballs and jerseys and Witten an autographed jersey for the auction.

There will likely be more items added before the event, including something from 2016 Colonial champion Jordan Spieth. And Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman is expected to be in attendance.

Ben Rogers and Jeff “Skin” Wade, who helped secure a lot of the auction items, will be broadcasting The Ben & Skin Show live on 105.3 The Fan.

To guarantee yourself a spot, call Dos Jefes at 214-303-1880 for reservations.

Dos Jefes is located at 2816 Fairmount St. in Dallas.
