The Dallas Cowboys signed cornerbacks Isaiah Frey and Dax Swanson on Monday, a couple days after cutting cornerbacks Terrance Mitchell and Brandon McGee.
Frey, a 2012 sixth-round pick out of Nevada, has spent time in the Chicago Bears, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and most recently Pittsburgh Steelers organizations. He was on the Steelers practice squad most of last season.
The most playing experience Frey has was in 2013 with the Bears. He played in all 16 games, making six starts.
Swanson was an undrafted free agent out of Sam Houston State in 2013. He has been with six organizations in his young career, including the Indianapolis Colts, San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots, Tampa Bay, New York Giants and Miami Dolphins.
