More than half of Cowboys’ starters signed for next season
The Dallas Cowboys begin the off-season with 13 of 22 starters signed for next season. (That doesn’t count Sean Lee, who should return to the starting lineup after missing the season with a knee injury.) They have $130.2 million committed to the 2015 salary cap, including $10.9 million in “dead money” for 31 former Cowboys players, including Kyle Orton and Miles Austin. The 2015 cap is projected to be in the $140 million range, though Jerry Jones said it could go as high as $146 million. And the Cowboys should roll over more than $4 million.
