Two Cowboys earn football writers’ All-NFL honors
Dallas Cowboys offensive linemen Tyron Smith and Zack Martin earned first-team All-NFL honors from the Pro Football Writers of America.
Kicker Dan Bailey joined Smith and Martin on the PFWA’s All-NFC team, which also was announced Monday.
It was a repeat selection for Smith on the PFWA’s All-NFL team.
Smith, Martin, Bailey and center Travis Frederick were second-team selections on The Associated Press All-Pro team, which was announced last week.
The four also earned trips to the Pro Bowl.
Smith allowed eight sacks, according to STATS, and had three holding penalties against him. Martin allowed two sacks and was penalized for three holds. Bailey went 30-of-32 on field-goal attempts.
