Cowboys tight end Jason Witten: His 21-yard, fourth-down conversion catch on the game-winning drive in the fourth quarter was the play of the game. He finished with five catches for 63 yards.
Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and wide receiver Terrance Williams: Romo bought time in the pocket to make key completions in the second half and withstood the beating of six sacks. He passed for 293 yards and two touchdowns and finished with a passer rating of 114.0. Williams caught three for 92 yards and two touchdowns. He caught the 8-yard game-winner with less than 3 minutes to play and a 76-yard touchdown in the second quarter.
Cowboys defensive ends DeMarcus Lawrence and Anthony Spencer: Neither led the team in tackles, but they had impact plays. Lawrence, a rookie, sealed the win with a fourth-down strip sack and fumble recovery and earlier made a fumble recovery that he eventually lost. He finished with two tackles, one sack, one hurry, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries. Spencer had three tackles, a sack, a hurry and a forced fumble.
Cowboys punter Chris Jones: He averaged 48 yards on four punts with three downed inside the 20 and a long of 59.
