Cowboys’ Dez Bryant, Morris Claiborne will not play against Buffalo
Wide receiver Dez Bryant didn't make the trip to Buffalo on Saturday, the Dallas Cowboys announced.
Bryant has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against Buffalo, and very well could be done for the season. Bryant has been battling foot/ ankle issues all season, and with the Cowboys out of the playoff mix, it might not make sense to rush the star receiver back on the field.
Bryant fractured a bone in his right foot during the season opener, and missed the next five games. He has been nursing that, along with ankle/ knee injuries, the rest of the season.
Claiborne, meanwhile, continues to be slowed by a hamstring injury. Claiborne missed two games last month with a similar injury, and sat out last week's game against the Jets with another hamstring injury.
Claiborne, like Bryant, has also been ruled out for Sunday's game.
The Cowboys close the season at home next week against Washington.
