Cowboys practice report: Dez Bryant (foot), Cole Beasley (sick) absent on Wednesday
Cowboys wide receivers Dez Bryant and Cole Beasley were two notable absentees from practice onWednesday.
Bryant continues to be limited with a foot injury, but is not expected to miss Sunday’s game in Buffalo. Beasley, meanwhile, missed with an illness.
Bryant was sidelined five games earlier this season after fracturing the fifth metatarsal in his right foot during the season opener, but has played the past eight games. Bryant caught his third touchdown of the season against the Jets, hauling in a 10-yard touchdown pass from Kellen Moore.
Cornerback Morris Claiborne (hamstring), who didn’t play Saturday night vs. the Jets, went through stretching with the team before working on the side.
Linebacker Rolando McClain (concussion), who also missed Saturday’s game, has passed the league’s protocol, and returned to practice.
